„Kleiner Schreihals“ (Little Screamer) was done like the digital
equivalent of a special form of lithography in which finest lines
are produced with a scraping technique that uses an extremely
sharp knife. Using a digital pen with “one-pixel” lines, working
colorless out of a black base, looks like scraping, because the
square format of single pixels gives a fissured look like a drypoint
etching. More than once, an artist viewing this piece, was
searching in vain for the “edge” of the printing press, which of
course does not exist with digital printing techniques.
In 2005 „Kleiner Schreihals“ (Little Screamer) was shown in the
exhibition „Bird 2005“ in Beijing. It got a „Honorable Mention“ in
the competition, 635 artists, 1576 pieces, and was added to the
collection of the „Beijing Natural Culture Center“.
