If it’s just the invitation, or the agenda, or both concerning the
general meeting, I don’t recall. Both can be read from what’s left
decipherable here. At least I know it was the basis, like in my
notebooks at school, to place a head amongst a text, which was not
really meant for that kind of treatment. Quite often, after having
scanned the image, I did remove all elements stemming from the text
and the paper it was printed on, because they had no role in the
aesthetics of the head. I just ignored them, while creating the real
subject. Precisely this was not true in this case. This head was done
using and respecting, so to speak, the printed text, kind of a merger
of head and print. Having said this, the thought comes easily to
mind, in what way and why I had the idea, to fill in the whole image
with writing, to in fact use “handwriting” as a graphic structure.
But in truth: It was not easy and I did not get this idea right away.
