This is an example for a line drawing on paper, which was close to finished and was turned into a digital-hybrid image, mainly by inverting, e.g. creating a “negative”. Enhancing it through subtle coloring and the use of a dark grey, showing only a minimal difference in comparison with the black, intensifies the alienation effect. In this way the line drawing, the spontaneous flow of lines, becomes the aesthetic backbone, as in a xylography. If one rightfully compares this with my aesthetically related vector drawings, the major difference is found in the “imperfect” character of the lines, showing their spontaneity.
