Again and again I find myself astonished about the fragile monstrosity of these creatures, whose supposed dangerousness, given their top-heaviness and the delicacy of their legs, contrasts in a mirthful, ironic way to their incredible size, filling landscapes. Understanding this makes one look the right way at these “special” giants.
